Analytics, Design & Development of a Multi-page Orthopaedics Website on WordPress

Orthopaedic Practice Dieter Schott approached us for a digital overhaul: patients lacked a clear online resource, and the old site felt outdated. We delivered a clean, multi-page platform powered by WordPress + YooTheme Builder, preserving the clinic’s calm beige-graphite palette and highlighting the “Book Appointment” CTA. Crisp Manrope typography, generous white space and a mobile-first layout make information effortless to find. Within the first month, average page load dropped to 0.9 s and online bookings jumped by 22 %.

Analysis & Briefing

We interviewed the doctor and front-desk team to map real-life journeys—from a quick phone lookup to deep dives into treatment methods. A competitive scan of German medical sites exposed pain points: bloated menus, complex forms and neglected SEO.

A refined content map with 12 logical sections grew out of our CJM workshops. Target keywords (“Orthopäde Altenkirchen”, etc.) were woven into slugs and meta-tags; within four weeks the site reached Google’s first results page.

Design & Development

The brief called for a minimalist interface echoing the clinic’s interior, yet easy for staff to update without developers.

We built a YooTheme-based design system: eight reusable blocks, colour preset #B9A185 and a 12-column REM grid. Custom Post Types for services and staff, coupled with lazy-loading and WP Rocket caching, keep CLS below 0.1. Editors can publish a new page in under five minutes.

Optimisation & Launch

Pre-launch priorities: speed, security, and resilience during seasonal injury peaks, plus integration with the existing practice scheduling software.

A GitHub Actions staging pipeline, automated backups and Let’s Encrypt SSL ensure smooth operations. A REST-API syncs available slots every 15 minutes. A/B testing of the CTA wording lifted conversion to 6.4 % versus 4.8 %. Full launch went live without downtime, and mobile bounce rate fell by 31 %.
